3. Data Processors

We work with various data processors who process data on our behalf. These service providers are contractually obliged to treat data confidentially and to use it exclusively within the scope of the respective service.

4. Definitions

Terms used primarily refer to definitions in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Art. 4 GDPR. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

5. Hosting

This website is hosted on servers of an external service provider. Data processing by the hosting provider is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR for the provision of a stable and secure website.

6. Legal Bases for Data Processing

The processing of your personal data is carried out on the basis of the GDPR and other relevant statutory provisions. Depending on the purpose, different legal bases apply (including Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a, b, f GDPR).

7. Data Transfers to Third Countries

If this website uses tools from companies based in third countries that are not certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), your personal data may be transferred to those countries. Please be aware that such countries may not provide a level of data protection equivalent to that guaranteed under EU law.

8. Retention Periods

Personal data is stored with the controller until the purpose for processing ceases or a legitimate request for deletion is made, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

9. Security Measures

We implement comprehensive technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or destruction. We collect only the data strictly necessary for each purpose (data minimisation).

10. SSL/TLS Encryption

This website uses state-of-the-art encryption (SSL/TLS) via HTTPS to ensure the security of your data during transmission.

11. Server Log Files

Each time the website is accessed, general information is automatically collected (IP address, date/time, files accessed, browser used). This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is not merged with other data sources.

12. Cookies

This website uses cookies – small files stored by your browser on your device. Some cookies are technically necessary; others serve analytical or optimisation purposes. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

13. Contact Form (Web3Forms)

When using the contact form, the data entered (name, nationality, email, phone, message) is used and stored to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a and b GDPR. The contact form is technically delivered via the Web3Forms service, whose servers are operated on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The data you enter is transmitted to Web3Forms, processed there, and forwarded to us by email. Submitted form data is stored by Web3Forms for 30 days and then automatically deleted. For more information, see the Web3Forms privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.

14. Google Tag Manager

This website uses Google Tag Manager, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies and does not collect personal data; it is used solely to manage other services (tags) such as Google Analytics 4 or Google Ads. Such analytics and marketing services are only loaded after your explicit consent and may then process personal data and transfer it to the USA, where an adequate level of data protection comparable to EU law may not exist. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR (consent). You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.

15. Enquiries by Email or Phone

Personal data transmitted by email or phone is used and stored exclusively to process your enquiry (legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR).

16. Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability. You may withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise your rights, contact: info@uhuru-safari.com

17. Right to Lodge a Complaint

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your data.
