Terms & Conditions

Uhuru Safari, hereinafter referred to as "the Company", accepts bookings subject to the terms and conditions set out herein. Please read these conditions carefully. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Bookings

Bookings and subsequent contracts are deemed concluded in Arusha, Tanzania, and shall be interpreted under the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. The place of jurisdiction is Arusha, Tanzania. The Company reserves the right to refuse any booking without giving reasons.

Payment Terms

A deposit of 30% is required to secure a booking. This deposit forms part of the total amount and is credited towards the final travel price. Full payment must be received no later than 45 days prior to departure. If full payment is not received on time, the Company reserves the right to treat the booking as cancelled and retain the deposit. Bookings made less than 45 days before departure must be paid in full immediately.

Amendments & Cancellations

An administration fee of USD 50 per person will be charged for amendments to existing bookings made by the client. Cancellations take effect from the date on which the Company receives written notice of cancellation by email. The deposit paid will be retained in full.

Cancellation fees:

• Up to 90 days before departure: 30% of the travel price
• Up to 45 days before departure: 50% of the travel price
• Less than 45 days before departure: 90% of the travel price

Entry – Passport – Visas

It is the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that passports, visas, health certificates, vaccination records, and all other documents required for Tanzania and Kenya are in order. The Company cannot be held liable for any consequences arising from the client's failure to arrange the necessary documentation prior to departure.

Luggage

All luggage and personal belongings remain the responsibility of the client at all times. The Company accepts no liability for loss or damage to personal items.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel insurance (cancellation cover, health insurance, luggage insurance). The Company accepts no liability for costs arising from the interruption or curtailment of a trip.

Disclaimer

The Company is not liable for damages arising from circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: force majeure, natural disasters, political unrest, or strikes.
